LBC Fans,

Just to share some fun. A couple of weeks ago the MG Club participated in the annual Ocean Beach Christmas parade. Although not finished, I drove my A down to OB and drove in the parade with about 15 other cars from the club.

This was the first time I had taken it out on the road and drove ol' HWY 5, pulling somewhere around 65 mph cruising with all of the much bigger vehicles. My wife followed in the family car not being brave enough to ride in the A. I drove it at night on the way home.... ran GREAT. Although it did overheat on the way home... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

WHAT GREAT FUN... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif Having hundreds of people taking pictures of your car and commenting on what a great car it is. Makes all of the work and expense well worth it....

I'll post a few pictures when I get around to downloading the camera.

LBC Fans,

I have finally downlaoded the pictures for the parade. THe first two are on the way there...

The last is the best picture of the actual parade... was at night and I haven't figured out how to take night shots yet /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif

WHOA, Ron! That last one was a flashback for me of some of the Mardi Gras parades I went to in my youth - only they weren't PICTURES! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Mickey,

Ah, youth.. so wasted on the young...

Come to think of it... reminds me of the 60s, what I remember of them that is... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
