Christmas Movies

No one else is going to watch the Charlie Brown Christmas Special?! "lights please..."
Or the old Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer Claymation special with Yukon Cornelius and the island of misfit toys? "Bumbles bounce!"

Of course!!!!

Just finished a Christmas Movie (sort of). "Mercy Mission: The Rescue of Flight 771" staring Scott Bakula. The movie is based on a true story of Jay Parkins who got lost over the Pacific while transporting a crop duster from US to Australia. His direction finder malfunctioned and he got lost, but a New Zealand Airliner, with a lot of ingenious navigational tricks by the Captain, was able to finally spot him and lead him to Aukland, where he made a successful dead stick landing in a T-storm after running out of gas 3 miles from the runway. He landed on Christmas day after more than 23 hours in the air. Great movie (available on Amazon on DVD BTW)
