But, when you ordered from "theAutoist", you paid actual shipping costs (after all your parts arrived in that foreign country), everything arrived in tact, & if there ever was any problem, the part would simply be replaced!

<span style="color: #660000">Yup, nothing but good to say about Tony and his honesty. I just
wish I'd known $30,000 in parts ago - that Tony sold parts.
My error/blunder/mess up. It cost me a bloody small fortune
NOT knowing the Autoist was available to me.

Thanks Tony- be on the lookout for something
for the Tajmal Garage.

best regards,

What exactly are:

"holiday architectural detail illumination strands?"

Is that a military or government description?

If it were military or government I'm sure it'd be acronym-ized as:

HADIS

and probably pronounced "Hades"; as in: I've gone to Hades with the ÂŁ^%$&&* lights!

There are sections that do not light. I tried replacing bulbs-no light.

I bought a gadget at Target for about 10 bucks that finds the defective bulb (induction tester, it chirps at good bulbs and is silent at the bad ones). It also triggers the shunt that most mini-bulbs have to ensure the rest of the string stays lit. Has a built in tester as well. Best 10 bucks I've spent in a while.

If I can't find the bad bulb after about 5 minutes, I toss the string. I usually keep a dozen or so strings on hand that I picked up at the half price sale.
