Choke cable support bracket

Ok guys

I have a BJ7 and at the moment the old choke cables are just conected to the the remote control connector at the bulk head and the carbs. The front cable should have a bracket supporting it some where along its length, using a single bolt to fix it to the manifold ? somewhere near the support backet for the accelerator spindle.

Can anyone show me a good view of where this bracket is mounted, the shape of the foot of it would seem to rule out placing it on top of the spindle support bracket.

Bob

Hi Bob, It is mounted using the same bolt as the one fixing the support bracket. Actually it does mount on top of the spindle support bracket. I believe John Loftus has a piccy in the archives here on the forum of it installed.--Fwiw--Keoke

no pic's but the Factory parts book or the Moss catalog show the choke cable support bracket mounts on the Nylon bracket that supports the spindle.

Take a look ...

engine control page of moss catalog

Cheers,
John

Thanks John,

looking at the Moss catalogue extract it is very similar to the SC Parts one but the layout on the SC Parts one is a tad different and does not show that relationship.
