Choke cable mounting under dash BN4

LBC fans,

Anyone have a picture of the choke cable/knob that will elucidate me to the location in the passenger compartment?

I have been scouring the manuals and can't find one...

Thanks

Take a look at Patton Dickson's website. He has a good picture of his before he tore it down. Basically the choke knob fits in a stabilizer bar for the dash just to the right of the steering shaft. The bar has a twisted metal fitting on the bottom with a hole in it. That's where the knob goes.

regards,
Randy

Randy,

Thanks for the advice... I will check out the website... I have been feeling a little dumb standing by the car with the choke cable in hand trying to remember where it went before I tore the car apart... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif

By the way, do you have a link to Patton's website??

Jim,

Wow, thanks for the link. So that's what the mounting plate looks like.. now.. to see if I can find it in my misc. box-o-stuff...

I was also looking for good, clear pictures of the interior for my BN4L #54767... and this site fit the bill completely...

Randy,

I checked out Patton Dickson's website and although I didn't find the pictures that you recommended it is still a very nice site and a wealth of information and links to other Healey sites.

Thanks for the referral.... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif
