Greetings Spridgeteers! Some of us Pac NW folks have occassionally gotten together for Spridget work parties. I'm thinking of hosting one in March/April, if there are interested parties. Please reply below to express interest, and please describe the project you might bring to work on, and/or any calendar restrictions you might have.

Here are some details, in no particular order
*Located in NW Seattle
*Multiple (dry) garage slots available
*Generally folks bring their cars (under their own power or on a trailer!) to be worked on or shown off; also tools, food and beer
*Starts around 9:00 AM, ending by/around 5:00
*Parts and hardware stores nearby
*We generally have a good selection of Bill's to chose from. We'll be missing BillM, though. :grumpy:

I think that's it! I hope we can pull off a get-together; it would be great to see my old friends.

Phil

This sounds great! If I am in town I would definitely be in for it! I have a recently acquired Spridget with a 1275 that needs to have the heads re-torqued and also has something funky going on with the front end (pulling to the right) - I'm a newb, but really want to learn the car inside and out so would welcome the chance to absorb some collective wisdom from the group.

I had actually been thinking of posting if there was anyone in the Tacoma area with a Spridget who I could bribe with with a meal at the Tides (Gig Harbor) to take a look over the car and give me some advice, so your post is very timely!

April 19th is the Northwest MG Car Club Tulip Rallye - we like to go on this one every year.
It's an open event so bring out your sports car of any marquee and you'll be welcome!

I'm pretty sure any other weekend I would be able to attend, I'll bring some tools and be ready to help wherever I'm needed.
Thanks Phil, I've been wanting to do this again!

Just a wee bit out of range for me (or confidence therein). [though it is "home" turf for me]

Thanks guys! I'm also planning to check for interest on the team.net mail list; and I'm under the impression that MG experience has a spridget forum too, so I'll try to check there as well.

Please expect a PM for your contact info, for coordination..

Phil

Hi guys
I would love to attend but it would take 2 days to get there- maybe next time
Have a good one whenever it is!

Sounds great to me.. I have no projects needing done... well maybe getting an oil gun a lubing the steering rack, but that's all. I would be more than willing to lend my hands to anyone in need. ..

The last weekend of April is always the All British Swop Meet at Montgomery Park in Portland. This year I won't be able to attend because I will be in Utah at the Ford Octane Academy. ... Other than that tho. .sound great.
