I am sure I told of how I got my TR8. Guy was advertising it for sale for $1500. I went and looked at it, the strust towers were mostly rusted out and had not run in 3 years. His wife was there when I offered $400. He politely said no and that it was of course a classic in limited number going to be worth tons. I gave him a business card and said if he changed his mind to call. The next day the wife called and said they decided they just wanted it out of the garage. Short story, as I was loading it onto the trailier with my brother and after she had signed the title (in her name by the way) over he pulles in and the look and I knew it was not his idea. He told me he lost his Harley the same way.
Apparently she sold "his" Harley the same way. Apparently before she had kids she was his sugar momma and as she worked and paid his way thru grad school, she bought him what ever made him happy (the TR8 was going to be a race car). After she became a stay home mom she decided he had too many toys thus the fire sale began
