I was tired of stuff like my umbrella, maps, sunglasses, phones, ad nauseum, rattling around in the car. Got this idea from Kim de Bourbon.

I couldn't find the cheap, vinyl car litter bags but I found these. They also had a double velcro strip (which I didn't know when I bought them) I added a liftadot, stuck the velcro on the ratty carpeting (it's strong enough I wouldn't have needed a liftadot) and wallah! THANK you so MUCH for that idea! It's going to work out great for trips, maps, sunglasses etc. in one, my Cheezits and gummiworms in the other!

Wow, looks great and you won't have thing flying around and disturbing you.

Neat idea, Janel! You could probably sell that kit...

That is a good idea, too bad there is no room behind the seat on a Bugeye or I would steal it.

Jack:

I thought about that also, then I thought about attaching it to the bottom entrance to the cave.

I still don't know why they didn't put a trunk lid back there!

Hay we are pureests and no trunks for us. Yep would have been nice.

And I think on the reverse side of the cave entreance might be a great place in fact.

Tony
maybe the same reason the didn't put retractable eyes /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
wouldn't that ave been a shame.

Jack
thats exactly where I was going /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/iagree.gif

Tony, later this summer, I'm going to do the trunk lid thing for back there.

What's the trunk lid thing?

Tony thinks Bugeyes need trunk lids.

However, they did any and everything to keep the cost down.

Oh... I'm going to attemp to make a fiberglass boot cover.

I'm confused. My brother-in-law has a Bugeye. Are you saying they don't HAVE trunks? Or they don't have lids to open to get into the trunks? I suppose I never looked that closely...

Yes... Bugeye's don't have a trunklid.

Bugeyes do not have trunks or trunk lids. We have this big cave behind the seats. Shoot two familys could live back there. We took enough stuff for two adults and a 2 year old for a week and no prob at all. Course we were about 21 then and life was an adventure every day.

So you just have to crawl back there or reach into the abyss and hope you grab what you're after?

((conversation makes sense now though))

You know, I can fix that for you. Sawzall.

Cave crawling is an old Bugeye trick, intresting the things you find after a few years.

Windows are for those who drive with the top up in the winter. Hehe.

Or in my case have something to drive.
