At least you would have no problem picking your car out in a parking lot with that paint colour.

I rather like the color.

Never before seen a J-H with bumpers like that; much more integrated than what one usually sees. I guess they went over to the "dock bumpers" for 1974?

If the ran ran, the seller would have benefitted from driving to someplace else, not on dead grass with junk cars in the background, for the photo shot. Cleaning up the interior, even a bit, one would think would improve the bidding.

The early JH had the nice bumpers like that but the engine had a lot of issues. The later ones had engine issues solved but big bumpers.

Yea, Peace man that's real Groovy. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

Seriosly though they had a colour not unlike that when they were new.(at least over here they did)It wasn't uncomon in the 70s but you seldom see it today.

I saw a new Lotus Elise yesterday that was the same color. Reminds me of the old Bricklin "Safety Green." /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/pukeface.gif

Funny thing is that everyone seems to hate this color, but if it was a 'Cuda, it would be "Sublime" and be worth 20% more than if it was white.

This is also a very popular color for Italian cars, and I happen to love a local Lamborghini Miura in this Pistachio Verde color.

But I do admit, it is not a good color for this specific car.

Sam, you're right. A friend has a winged Superbird this color, and it looks correct. But on a JH, or a new Elise, Uh Uh.

Walter..."At least you would have no problem picking your car out in a parking lot with that paint colour." Only thing I can add to your statement is... AT NIGHT!!!

That is the most retro ugly colour imaginable.
