Yeah....looks like somebody bondo-ed in some 57 Ford taillights.

Boy, that one car got nailed but good.

You notice the one with the Ford taillights there is no beading or fender separation...or gas fill.....

15 pounds of bondo......

Looks like a 55-56 T-bird to me.

Well, I guess someone, somewhere thought it seemed like a good idea at the time....

:wall:

Hello James,

don´t judge about this pornographic concours cars... :jester:
I think someone did not follow the board rules....
But nice parts junk..it can be an artwork if you eliminate the modern car.
OK, all joking apart.

Unfortunately 92% of all Healeys were exported to the US, if I see the price level for the healeys in europe, I can not understand those existing wracks...

Bye michel-who would like to have so much place to store such automotive history

Hey Tim, it looks well done. And I 'll bet that there are some other neat tweaks on that car too.

.....COULDN'T GET THE QUIK REPLY TO TAKE MY SUBMISSION. Is that part of the upgrade or maybe just something going on with my computer or service.

That's a stock feature for the early cars. Filler is in the trunk.

Except you can see the bubbled bondo on the red hulk in the same place the filler is on the.....dark hulk.

Hundreds didn't have a filler tube protruding through the shroud, regardless of what you see bubling

Finally...

Okay.....without any possibility of finding markings to delineate actual vintage....like taillights, chrome "Austin Healey" on boot lid, bumpers, fender welting (beading).......except for that funny bubbling where there shouldn't be any bubbling.......

I can't make out the VIN tag, no matter what I do.....and of course, with all the "mods" to that car prior to it's final hulk status, who knows what bits were swapped out.

You don't see the big bubble in the enlarged photo?

I don't know if I can post the photo.....has the evilbay logo in the bottom corner, so I removed it from this post.
Link from the previous post.

To continue.......with all the bondo spread out on that car, taillights, bumper openings, beading, why not use what's left to plug the filler hole?

I'm just saying what I'm seeing in the picture, not what's norm or not.
