Cheap gas prices

Dunno, but happy for now. Here in Tampa I put $10 in premium in the Alfa and went over the half-tank mark for the first time in what seems like a decade.

I filled up for $1.33 Monday, now it is back up to $1.49.

I'll be happy when premium dips below $2 per gallon. Still hasn't happened yet. Although, one of the benefits of owning an LBC is that they are pretty good on gas and their tanks are small enough that $15 will more than top the car off even with premium. One of the reasons I daily drove the Sprite was because it was significantly better on gas than the alternatives presented to me.

There's a long-term negative about falling gas prices. Be careful what we celebrate ...

Back when it hit 3,500 I was stunned. Now I just shrug.

$1.48? We are paying that a litre here. Still it means a full tank costs £55 now instead of £70+ at the peak. Which is good as a full tank only lasts me for a weeks commute (and I work from home two days a week).

It's back down today, $1.33.

SWMBO said she saw a 7-11 yesterday with $1.18 but $1.3x is about the lowest I have seen.

I saw an even cheaper one in Lawton on my way to work $1.28. Bayless, $1.18 would be really nice right about now.

(but I can't feel sorry for the gas giants....... what's bad for them is good for us.......mostly)

$1.45 down the street from me. Heard on the news this morning at because most world storage space is full up, including idle tankers, that some analysts are predicting it could fall below $20 a barrel before production starts to fall.

$!.27 here today in one station I passed.

$1.25 here.
