There are two kits. One designed for 25D and one for 45D.
I have no personal experience (yet) on how good they are, but the UK-based Austin forum I visit seems to have good comments so far.

You get what you pay for.......Caveat Emptor
 
*If* i were tempted, I'd get TWO... AND still keep a points set-up aboard for retrofit.

It may be a perfectly good arrangement. Just too far away for a quick replacement.
 
On some of the U.K. boards I frequent those are referred to as the "Britparts" kit. I believe the kit is a very common upgrade in the U.K. among Land Rover owners.

The Mini owners I know in the U.K. who have switched to this kit have been very satisfied. Several of them who have used this kit on their own car have subsequently installed it on other A-series engines for family members and friends. The Dr. is right, for the price... you could buy two and always have a spare in the boot. However, in the past two years that I have known about this kit I have not heard of anyone reporting a failure.

Ok folks,
i finally got my dizzy with this kit installed. shipping took a while...But the sellers communication was excellent.

i ordered the performance 45d. seems to be working just fine. i have it hooked to a lucas sport coil. It came ready to drop in- and it fired and ran on the first twist of the key.

all for 100 bux. I don't think that's too bad..
