I ordered some of these for my TR6. The are cheap at $5.95 plus shipping for a small 12 light LED 3rd brake light. I have not mounted them yet so no pictures.
I have order from the The Electronic Goldmine in the past with no issues. They have a lot of other neat electric parts.

Thanks for the link. I've put an LED 3rd brake light on the Mini and would like to do the same on our GT6. I don't think you can beat the price of the one you found.

I'll browse their site to see what other items I need/want so I can justify an order.
 
Thanks for the link. It looks a little small (4.7") - but the advantage of that could be it won't be too obvious when not in use. Maybe one could put a magnetic backing on one of them and plop it on the front edge of the trunk lid, with the wires run down into the trunk.
