Last night I joined the Live Chat "Shed" session, about 8:30pm EST. Showed total of 5 users.
Just wondered if any other chat users experienced what I did.
First off, the chat was a great opportunity for "real time" interaction. Really enjoyed that.
But ... I'd see someone post a line, something like "Joe, did you get much snow?".
Then nothing for a minute, despite hitting the Refresh button, then another person posts "John, where are you located?"
Then another person posts "Ed, What cars do you own?"
Then at least three minutes after the first question, I'd see Joe post "Only a couple inches snow".
Then another minute went by, and I'd see Ed write "Nissan, Alfa, and the Lotus".
Never saw a response from John, even tho' he still showed up in the list of members in the Shed.
Despite frequently hitting the "Refresh" button, the wait between question/answer was driving me nuts - and I found my chat window kept closing and I'd have to re-enter the Chat area frequently.
Anyone else?
I know Basil spent a lot of time putting this all together, and would probably appreciate some detailed feedback. Just wondered if I was the only one experiencing the "chat delay" issue.
