Charleston Show

And no peaking at the valve cover

I peaked when I saw the first photo, Don.

Even with the valve covers there are several things that scream MG under that hood.

Had never noticed the MG V8 had that intake on it before.
Presumed it was more like the Rover style

I know Wray very well.
He welcomed us to the club and has been an ambassador for us.

Nother one of "them" MG fans
He had 3 cars in the show and didn't even bring the Magnettes

Loved the MGB GT V8. It is a very nice original car just recently brought over from England and had a lot of folks talking about it.
It was a beautiful day in the lowcountry for a British Car show.

Cheers,
Irene

What a perfect day for a show! It sure made up for last year.....Great assortment of cars too, first time I have heard a Berkeley running-all three cylinders. Eric

Love the Jag. In high school girlfriend and I would sit in the garage in her dads 1958. There was a top hat for the driver, I wore the hat but never made it out of the garage.

Back seat driver? :rolleye:

When I was very young (early 1970s), one of our neighbors had a white Mark II of mid-60s vintage. Since then, I've always had a soft spot for the Jag sedans. Where as most of his neighbors had Dodges, Buicks and Chevrolets, he had quite the eclectic collection. Besides the Jaguar, he also had a Toyota Crown station wagon, and a red MGB-GT that his son drove. It was my first exposure to British cars, and obviously, it left quite the impression.

Wanted to post this pic for Dave (TOC)

Nice. USA model with white t/s lens...non-standard Lucas FogRanger (possibly dealer installed), from the best I can tell of the badge colours, 3.8L.
Shiny car.
Thanks!

well I can't remember.
There was a 3.8 and a 3.4 there
