I have finally got my 850 mk1 running after 12 years of fiddling about (not always conscientiously) and now the generator does not want to play ball. Its about 30 years ago but I have had this issue before where after a long period of no use they loose their polarity, I know its a simple procedure but I cant recall how its done, usually only have to do it if you convert to neg earth. Anyone got the procedure? Perhaps someone with a better recall than mine.
