I realized that my flooding problem was coming from a build up of compression in the overflow line. I disconnected it and she runs great. I blew on the flex line of the overflow and the fuel in it went right to the ground from the bottom vent of the charcoal cannister. I haven't reconnected it. I thought that the fuel would go back to the fuel line instead, is this normal?
Is this cannister replaceable or is there a way to find out if she's acting properly?

Not replaceable, but the bottom twists off. Clean the filter (or replace it) and use activated charcoal from a pet supply.
 
Even though the overflow line is disconnected from the cannister I always have some fuel accumulating in the line which creates a negative pressure and floods the carbs. Why is it acting like that?

Are your floats operating properly? Fuel shouldn't get from the carbs to the charcoal cassister unless there's a problem in the carbs.
 
The fuel isn't really coming from the carbs to the overflow line. I think It's the overflow from the fuel bowls and then stays on the overflow line. Am I right?
 
Why would the fuel bowls overflow if the floats were set correctly? I'm asking because I don't know....

It was required for emmissions for fumes.
 
See, 'fumes' is what I thought it was designed for...so, if you're getting raw gas there, you've got carb problems!
 
The fuel pressure is 4.5psi.
What I can try is to add a washer underneath the float valve or to install a fuel regulator on the line to keep it at three psi, but where can I get that?

4 to 4.5psi is not too much...you do know you can adjust the float?
 
It's the new float type they're made of plastic and unajustable, there is no brass plate like the old ones. The only way to adjust them if I'm not mistaken is to add washers underneath the
needle valve itself.
 
How full are the bowls when you remove the float/top assembly?
