Change LHD for MOT

My 2nd post.. I have decided to take my LHD BMW F20 from Germany to the UK. Since I have to register with the DVLA, I have to make these changes:
1. Fix headlights so they dip to left (Mine are halogens).
2. Fix rear foglight (Default is rear left).
3. Put MPH speedometer.

Has anyone got experience with these changes. How difficult are they and if done at a garage how much they cost. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Good news, can I suggest though that you check a UK based forum? (Try retro rides) while this is a British Car Forum almost everyone on it actually lives in North America, so, it isn't that we are being unfriendly when we don't respond, we just don't know. In fact our issues are more likely getting RHD cars licensed in the USA and Canada. Do let us know though.

i wouldn't be surprised to find a British BMW forum either that might help with parts - good luck!

Should not be a major issue. You will need to switch the headlamps to the UK units and move the fog lamp to the other side of the vehicle.
The speedo will be the difficult bit. This will more than likely need to be done by a BMW main dealer, as the mileage when changed, etc will need to be recorded for the DVLA.
Let us now how you get on.
