Center Console Bolt/Screw size?

Hi, I need to know the size bolt/screw for a 73' MGB center console. I made the mistake of not looking at the hole size and thread pattern, and we have just put new carpet down on the tranny tunnel and really don't wont to pull it back up to check the size. Does anybody know the size bolt/screw it takes. It is the one that is inside the compartment when you lift it up.

I found a make shift screw and cup washer, so I think that will work for me, as it does hold the console down. Just not original.
