Center Console BJ7

My Mark II Bj7 does'nt have a center console. Did all of them have a console or did prior owners simply remove it at one point.

Mine also has a wood dash which I have only seen in the BJ8's so I am not sure what version of BJ7 I have.

Anybody got a clue?

Sounds like you have a car that a prior owner made some modifications to. All BJ7's had the roadster style dashboard.

BJ7s had the 100/6-Mk1/Mk2 style dash. Wood dashes were only put on BJ8s. No centre consoles on the BJ7.

jersey, in regard to your first posting on this issue my self and several others tried to clear this up with you, now we have a new batch of our fellow healey nuts helping, isnt it great? i have owned every model of these cars with the exception of a 100s, and can absolutely tell you a bj7 did not, does not, and never will come originaly with a wooden dash, it is however a good chance that the previous owner had the wooden dash put in your car, the other expaination is that your car is not a bj7, hence you "must" find the i.d. numbers on your car to determine what exactly you have, also pictures often help since there are external markings on a bj8 such as light configuration,bumper reflecters, hight of rear springs,exhaust set up and other things, that will tip us off to what you have, if you have an owners operators manual it will tell you the location of all your i.d. numbers, if you dont have a manual you can look through my previous post using my member name "anthony7777" and find i posted pictures on all the i.d. number locations, failing that i will repost all the locations in picture form once again, dont worry we will find out exactly what you have.
