DON'T use your cell phone while we're playing!!

Take THAT!

I have heard phones during the service, but not often. Wish I'd had the presence of mind that one clergy person did: A cell phone rang during a service, and he stopped and said, "Unless that's Jesus, don't answer it!"

How 'bout this?

Mickey, if that happens during a sermon, have the choir surround the person and belt out the Halleluja Chorus!

It is nice to find that I'm not the only curmudgeon when it comes to cell phones. I applaud the string players for their approach. I fear that the lack of decency and respect by cell phone users, bodes ill for our culture as a whole.

Just look around you in TRAFFIC, Dale!!!

...should scare th' bejeezus outta ya!!! :smirk:

 :iagree: I noticed that at a light just yesterday...I was the ONLY one not on a cell phone among the cars I could look into!!!!!

In Canada we now have to check our staplers. It took 4 mounties and 5 shots from their tasers to subdue a polish immigrant at the airport who was brandishig a deadly paper stapler. They got him good as he died and they now say their lives were dangerously being threatened. The blue line closes again.
