4/9/1979 to 4/9/2022 I've been owned by my '72 TR6 which I bought for my 30th birthday present to myself, to celebrate we went driving 224 miles roundtrip with several hundred other LBCs on Rolling British Car Day 3 days before my 73rd 4/12/2022 after today odometer reads 384,949 miles same engine/TR6. Enjoy!

I must say: I was impressed reading your posting: 30th birthday present... enjoyed the car for 43 years... when on a celebratory drive...

...then I read "384,949 miles".

And I was blown away! That is incredible. Wonderfully incredible! Well done!
 
Thank You we appreciate it. Our short term goal is to see 88888 on the odometer, long term at least 1/2 million miles same engine/TR6. We're not alone in the distinguished TR6 Hi-Miler Club Gentleman with bought new 1969 Jasmine TR6 pictured on page 2 of link has over 400,000 miles on his, we both must have read same line When Driving is a Passion TR6
