I haven't had anything to say reciently. No progress really. Building up funds for the final push. But I do take a drive every nice day in the local private road community.

I just noted that with the new month comming I am going to order a wood rimed steering wheel.

Take a look at what Miss Agatha is wearing at the moment. No chips, no cracks and has preaty well been restored, some sanding of the rim and a final coat or two of the plastic paint or a wrap in leather and another wheel is good to go. What whould it be sold for? What's it worth?

Found one in the condition mine is in on eBay. 52 dollars at the moment.

Yep, they seem to fetch a pretty good price on average on ebay, Jack! Also a couple of nice replacements to be found there right now! (a bit pricey though, I thought!)

Jack,

I'd be more than willing to pay you $60.00 for yours /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

scratch that....I thought we were talking about the car...not just the steering wheel...sorry /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

If funds are a problem, You can paint with the paint used on rubber bumpers and it looks really good. I've done mine and like it better than the wood. The paint is 4 to 5 yrs old and has stood the test of time.

That is what I used on this one, still needs a good final sanding and one last coat.

Yep final push. Of course they get finished. When everything is new or restored it happens.

Miss Agatha will be finished except for normal maintance.
