cats on cars

A good friend had a problem with several cats sleeping on his car. They would jump on the hood and then on the top. the trouble would be when they decided to get off. The cats use their claws to keep from sliding and scratch the paint. He took ordinary aluminum foil and stretched it across the hood in several places and laid pieces of wood on it to keep it from blowing off. Most cats do not like to walk on aluminum foil, it crunches and makes noise and they will stay away from it. An easy and inexpensive trick. Hopefully your cat will not like it and stay off you vehicle.

If this does not work, purchase a trap and catch the cat. Do not take it to the animal control as they will probably put it to sleep. Take it for a long ride and release it someone elses neighborhood, but not mine!

I was just in the "Live Chat" of the BCF and we decided that some of you have too much aggression towards cats. That's why we decided that the link to this game would be useful. It's called Itsy Bitsa Kitty. Knock yourselves out but please, PLEASE don't hurt any real living creatures. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/angel.gif

I scored 305 points, made it through round 8 and had an overall hit percentage of %70.9

I think the main problem some people have with cats is that they don't sooth the ego very much. Not nearly as submissive & able to be controlled as a dog.

No cat problems at all here - we keep the cars garaged and removed the claws from the house cats.

I do that anyway, doesn't seem to keep the cats off. Forgot about this thread because I posted it so long ago. Kinda fun to reread the threads.

EDIT: Come to think of it: I'll slam a six pack this eve! When SWMBO asks what th' frell I'm DOIN'... I can say"I'm just keepin' the neighborhood cats off your CAR!"

I LOVE it!!!

You could retaliate against the pet's owner by using a little know product used by breeders to excite toms. Called synthetic feline in estrus, this pheromone is orderless & colorless. Beware...It is also highly concentrated!

One drop of this stuff & every male cat within a 10 mile radius will come to claim whatever it is applied to. (essentially reducing any car to a lump of green corrosion)

This information is for "entertainment purposes only".
The actual effects are so supernaturally revolting as to defy description.

Of course this would be applied to the cat OWNER'S vehicle, right?

Hmmm, another possibility for that darned ice cream man - doc.

Did I forget to mention that? .........A VERY important point

Multiply the din of the most extraordinary cat fight you have ever heard by a factor of 10 & don't forget how amorous toms leave "calling cards".

Someone poured an entire bottle of this substance on the local animal control officer's vehicle.

hmmmmm... pour some around the loud speaker terminals...

2 birds and 1 stone? maybe... I guess it would depend on the amount of power going into the speaker when the cat leaves his calling card... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Just reading a few post and couldn't resist this one.
9mm was abit much, Thought he would have said bb gun. The best way is give the owner of the cat a bill for a $7,000.00 paint job and the cat will disapear, Fast! And if there is not an owner, then the 50/50 chance is the way to go.

I love this idea {synthetic feline in estrus, this pheromone is orderless & colorless.} And the idea of putting it on the cat owners car and other belongings is supurb! I got so sick of cats ruining my belongings. I now own one very large Pug, Engilsh mastiff mix Dog {he dispisses cats} If a cat inadvertently wanders into his domain {Well ... lets just say may God have mercy on the cat}. And yes I have had visits from the animal control office with complaints about him injuring neighborhood cats. I simply say he is always within his domain {My yard} if a cat strays in here there isn`t much I can do to control the situation, I suggest you inform the neighborhood that there is a very good possiblity if thier cat wanders into my yard likely as not he/she may not return in sound condition if at all. I can`t let my dog run the streets, why should cats be any different.

P.S. I have seen some rather large cats put up a pretty good fight, but believe me, in the end they are NO MATCH.

I thought there was going to be pictures. Here is cat on cat action.
