Castrol Oil for Classic Cars 20W 50W

Just came across this on the Triumph Forum.
The oil has zinc in it and it's synthetic.

If starting with a rebuild engine like I am (1275) after initial startup, are synthetics OK? I'd use regular oil everywhere else.

Yes, that is the one to use. I just bought two cases of this from NAPA. It is on sale for $4.99/qt. Get the full synthetic, not the blended. I am putting it in a newly rebuilt 1275 for my BE from the start as well as in my BJ8 with many miles on it.

Down here in Johannesburg

Drilled down in the site to find which oil, came to the option 'CAR' their list never had 'MG' as an option.

Did a similar exercise on the Liqui-Moli site and also got stuck as ther site didn't go further back about 1980.
