I went to top off fluids this AM in Bugsy and oulled out a fresh bottle of Castrol GTLMA obtained from vendor last year in Dayton at British Car Days. Bottle now reads Synthetic Brake Fluid, New Formula.


Is this compatible with existing GTLMA brake and Clutch fluid that are in there? Bottle says compatible with DOT3 & 4 but before I top things off... What does the list say?
 
OK found an answer on line from Castrol. GTLMA has always been fully synthetic. No change in the formula just now a higher boiling point 329 degrees than before.

Do you remember who was the vendor that had Castrol Brake Fluid available? I can't find it in the Detroit area.

Just Google Castrol GTLMA and I found a bunch of mail order vendors. Pegasus Racing I think sells. If all else fails - MG Automotive is in Kettering 5 miles from my house. Yes I actually have a Spridget specialist 5 miles away. That's the one reason I embarked on this journey 12 years ago.
 
The last bottle I bought came from Amazon.com.

Several size choices available, if I recall.
