Carstuff--Emma's engine

Re: Carstuff--engines

I stuffed rags in the holes where the manifold attaches (see picture page 1) - is that where you meant? Oh I think I know what you mean now by Scotch Loc. Sorta like the scrubby disc things and the 'base' with the grabby thingies on my Scumbuster thingy. But on Emma, I used:

Re: Carstuff--engines

NOONIE!

Okay yea. Pleased. And surprised. I'll settle for that. You men do know that a woman, any woman, can do whatever she wants, whatever she sets her mind to. All this carcrap just wasn't important when I drove the 'regular' cars that I could buy a dime a dozen at any car dealership in the city. Remember, this is the car I wanted when I was 16. I want to be able to take care of her, at least in part. And you know what, I was pretty darned pleased with myself too after I was finished. It's not like I did anything major, but I did SOMETHING, ya know?

So I have 3 more days before I have to work again. What can I get into next?

I need to polish lots and lots (i.e., boxesful) of chromebits. Tedious. I'm going to pawn that job off on dason I think. He's a perfectionist, type A personality. Perfect for the job.

Re: Carstuff--engines

Lots of cleaning to do in the engine compartment, Janel....Simple Green or that orange stuff works wonders!

Re: Carstuff--engines

Tony, I HATE cleaning. I hate cleaning my house. It's boring, tedious, unexciting work. I don't want to clean. I want to sawsall and angle grind. Destructive stuff.

Re: Carstuff--engines

Sometimes you just have to clean! Tomorrow I'm doing that to the front suspension of my GRM car!

Re: Carstuff--engines

Must be the "Woman's touch" there!

JB, I have a Craftsman 6HP 150 PSI, 33 Gallon upright on wheels that seems to able to deliver 90 PSI to a tool fast enough to keep up with most jobs I have done with it...but then, I work rather slowly most of the time.
