Where is this weekly gathering? Please say San Diego as Agatha will be there next July and wants to meet these gorgeous vehicles.

Again, I find myself drawn to the "oddballs" - the grey VW notchback, the 1500 Ghia (love THAT one!), and the Jeepster!

Neat stuff, Cliff - thanks!

I too am wandering about the red car with the side intakes big enough to let a jet engine pull air through.

The Red car is a Bizzarrini - The 1960's Bizzarrini is an absolutely beautiful car. Bizzarrini was one of Enzo Ferrari's top engineers. They had a falling out and Bizzarrini started his own car. He's the man behind such cars as the Ferrari 250 GTO and the Testa Rossa, the Iso Rivolta GT, the Iso Grifo and the American Motors AMX/3.

Here is one of his 60's designs. It was at a car show here recently, only the 3rd time this car has been out. Bizzarrini used a Corvette V-8 in this car because he wanted a reliable engine.

Bizzarrini's, just one more neat car I'll probably never see in my lifetime... Okay... Must learn to be less fatalistic /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Wow, I didn’t know good ol’ Giotto was still around and making cars. That’s awesome!

PC.

NICE!

Also, I'll never get tired of looking at all those Vectors /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

...yea, I plan on going to SD next year to the Conclave also, but I will hit Cars & Coffee the weekend before for sure! If it is still going!!
