Okay.... so black Ferrari's win my heart...

..and gatherin' up Allards wot can't cross railroad tracks without goin' all wonky is hateful.

Thanks, Cliff. More "Dee-troit" than I ever wanna see again, tho. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

That Allard -- wow. Also, a black car (the XK-120) with black wire wheels has got to be one of my favorite color combinations, especially on an early Jaguar or TR3. Very menacing.

Thanks as always for the pics. I love these weekly posts!

BTW: wonder if that's Leno's Mazda Cosmo... can't be too many of them around.

What the red thing. Looks like an Alpha or god forbid a Peugeot

Ah, I looked again. It has Pinin on it.Is it a dancing horse car?

It's about the very first photo. That red Jag
has got my attention. Ignorant about what it really
is, but, how's XKE for a guess sound?

Not so sure just which it is...but I think I like it.
If I think that the TR's can be expensive....I'll bet
the Jags are over the top.

Guy that dated my sister had an XKE and it was a
kick to ride in. He liked to drive it...and I mean
d-r-i-v-e it! Was fun. Nostalgic.

No, Side. Talking about the very first photo in this
series. It's a Jag. Just don't know the year or
model, like that. Never followed the Jags. Just
remember it was kicks riding in one many years ago.

The black paint jobs on the 120 Jag and on the 250GT are really beautiful.
But I know I'm crazy for this, but I'm really glad you posted all those pictures of the Allard. No, they're not half the car of the Ferrari, but they are very special for what they are. And they're one of my favourite cars of all time.

I really like the 8th picture of the german postcar (i call it a mini-landrover cuz' it looks like one..)

I took a lot more of the Allard - It was about as nice as they come!
