Dangit! My car was there again! Wish I could afford it. It's right there, in the last photo. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

As for the Ferraris, too new. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

WOW excellent pics!
PC, did you run into Sideache there? that's his blue Mini (I know. I saw it in a magazine hehehehe)
Really. Nice pics. everything around here is put up for the winter, or buried under a foot of snow.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. Helps those of us in winter states remember that there will be nice driving weather again. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Geez, Cliff!!! That Alfa GT just made me scream. It looks like my first and third (last) GT's. JUST like 'em. First one was a '65 1300 Junior, last was a '66 1600 Gulia Sprint GT. Both AR-501 red.

...I'm heartsick.

Thanks!

Yup, that’s his car but he wasn’t around it at the time.

That little cardboard box in front had a bunch of postcard size business cards with examples of his work.

...Huge Turnout - at about 7:30, the place was packed with cars double parked...
Yeah, I had to stop for gas and got there a few minutes late (like 07:20). There were two spaces left. You can see my JH way in the back row.

Well darn, I missed him. Funny thing is I swung by his office on the way home to check out a Morgan club that was visiting.

So what time do you have to be down there now to get a good spot?

Barry Maguire is creepy

Between 6:30 & 7:00. In the Summer it's between 6:10 & 6:40

Oi, I thought they started this one a little later than the old Crystal Cove locale. That means leaving around 4:30am for me, yikes! I guess I still won't be going down very often.

Barry is a pretty nice guy,[/QUOTE]

Not according to my friend who worked on "Car Crazy" with him. None of the journalists I work with have anything good to say about him either.
I have not met him personally, but just from the way he looks at people on his show gives me the creeps

Two hours to get from LA to Irvine before 07:00 on a Saturday?

C&C is right on the 5 fwy. The drive should take about 45 minutes at that time of the day.

I’ve met him a few times and always found him to be very friendly and enthusiastic.

OBTW, if you just want see the cars and not show off yours you don’t have to worry about getting there on time. Spectator parking doesn’t fill up. You just have to walk from the other side of the building.

No, it usually takes me a little over an hour and 15 minutes to get down to Crystal Cove (have not been to the new location, but it is not that much closer, it is still over a 50 mile drive for me). Plus I have to get the car ready and warmed up and I usually stop to meet a friend along the way, so it is close to an hour and half to be there for 6am

It takes me about 25-30 minutes to get to Supercar Sunday and that is only 20 miles away from me

I am sure when you meet him he comes off nice (as he should), but as I said, a bunch of my friends who have worked with him have a much different opinion. I'll take their word on it /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
