To mark the passing of Carroll Shelby on May 10, 2012 Autoweek printed a cover photo of Shelby standing in front of 4 cars. Surprisingly the most recognizable car in the photo is a bugeye, not a Cobra or a Shelby Mustang. Take a close look at the grill area of the bugeye. it has been customized and I would bet it is the work of Pete Brock. He is standing with his foot on the tire. Autoweek issue of May 28,2012

The first instructor for the Shelby School of High Performance Driving was Peter Brock.
The school went on to become the Bondurant School.

Peter told me that a few weeks ago when I met him and his wife Gayle.
