While I did this on my TR6, it would probably work on any car with those ugly cardboars trunk panels.
I've been searching for material to use in my trunk to cover the crappy cardboard stock panels. David Harris (YEM) has allowed me access to his photobucket pictures and in there I found pictures of his trunk......Perfect! An email revealed the product is from.....gasp......Wal-Mart at a whopping $9 plus 3M #77 Spray Adhesive!
This is a $20 project that takes about 3 hours to do if yor trunk panels are in decent shape. If they aren't, figure another $10 for hardboard from HD/Lowes.
I didn't get a chance to vacuum before taking the pictures..........which really don't show how nice they look.
Like David, I decided to add a panel to the rear of the trunk and cover the top edge. I think it looks better then stock..........but nothing about my car is stock.
