Carpet Questions

Hello Forum Brain Trust,

My tri-carb is actually a bit of a hybrid; BT7 body, interior and top, with BJ8 Phase 2 frame, chassis, tranny and running gear.
I like to think of it as a BT7 with BJ8 upgrades.
While ordering new carpet, I found a dilemma.
Is the carpet in the front foot well areas, floors and covering the center shift transmission tunnel identical on the BT7 (later), BJ7 and BJ8 Phase 1 and 2 models?
Are there any differences; besides rear seat area and the boxes behind the seats for the radius arms?
The BJ8 has a center console. Is the carpet underneath the same as the previous models?
Thanks.

Douglas Glesmann

Wow, am I replying too soon if I don't wait until 4:37 PM? 🙂 I agree with Derek - you need a set of carpets for a BT7 with center shift transmission.
