Looks like they cover the rear wheelwells of a 4-seater (says the guy with a 2-seater...).
 
Just seems odd that there's carpet on the wheel wells which is then covered up by the panels...?
 
Yep they are the wheel hump pieces . .Theres a piece of carpet on the angled back panel behind the rear seat back and the two pieces you show extend that piece over the wheel humps . for a cleaner finished look .
