Carpet intallation help

I am just a little bit frustrated, and I need some help. I bought a carpet set years ago from Moss, and I am just now trying to install it. The parts that are giving me problems are the screw/snaps that go into the floor. The snaps are a one piece brass/chrome unit. I don't like the idea of screws going into the sheet metal and sharp points poking out below the floor to begin with. Some holes are already too big. I don't feel like drilling another 15 holes. Does anyone sell just the snap portion that has a separate screw going through it? At least that way I could use a machine screw and nut on the other side. Any suggestions?

Pop rivets?

If they came like the original, I wouln't have had a problem. I didn't know these were standard. Thanks Ray.

Any hardware store should. They'll be in the box/bin/cabinet units.

If you're stuck let me know here they sell them with screw installed - it's in the camping section of a local surplus store
