Getting along with my 100-6 restoration and working toward carpet. I made the interior panels myself by buying vinyl and copying what was left of my Longbridge. The pre-cut carpet kit is $500+. For that price, I will have a go at cutting my own. AH Spares sells carpet by-the-yard in two varieties, but the freight will likely be more than the material.
Does anyone know of a source in the US that sells carpet by-the-yard appropriate for a '58 big Healey? I'm not seeing it at the usual suspects. It doesn't need to be concours correct but something similar and ~period correct would be in line with the restoration approach so far.
Thanks for any suggestions. Also, if anyone has experience cutting their own carpet, I'd appreciate any suggestions.
