Well, poop, now I just read that the tow-line has broken.

But leave it to The Onion to weigh in on this one: HERE (just checked this link and it doesn't work because of a 4-letter word in the link that is blocked by BCF... so you'll just have to go to their main-page at the top and go to near the bottom of that page).
 
4 tugs, moving at 5mph, one line breaks and they all sit there waiting for, not a new line, but another tug.
 
Interesting - and unnerving - that the Costa Concordia is (was) also a Carnival lines ship.
 
I had to laugh when I saw a Carnival commercial on tv last night -
it showed a family at a theme park,with the ride they were on breaking down,
& leaving them stranded upside down.
The caption said something like "Not this year".
