I've listed two carb/intake setups for sale in the classified.
Both are VERY nice.

And what is the replacement for those carbs...

And what is the replacement for those carbs...

Deez boize They ain't quite as strong wailing as the HS4s and the HIF6 is great for cruise and ease of mind. Fiddling ain't required for the HIF6. The HS4s also come with 3 or 4 sets of needles. From
wild to mild. Nice hot rod set.
For what I do with the car, mainly short floggings and a lot of hills and even a bit in town, the HS2s were more responsive.
The things ain't cheap. A pro re-build is $$$.
Just tired of seeing them sit there taking up space. They do look cool in transparent boxes and it's kind of neat having options so ....price is firm.
..the HS4s would fit that B's intake....just saying. What does Moss get for HS4s? The HIF6 has a nice ported alloy intake.

Custom deal from Hap. Racer's trick. K&N filters.
The other carbs have stub stacks inside the
filters.....just not as nice as those from
Hap on the HS2s.

That what I had guessed. I sent Hap a note about some he had on his web site last night.

I think the pic on Hap's web site is a set for a MGB. Those stacks are stock MGB HS4 air filter bases he's modified. I think that is right.
The ones on my HS2s are custom made from billet for HS2s. The K&Ns are the same. Pretty trick setup. IMHO
Nuttin but da best for Mimi.:frog:

Got it -- was wondering if you had decided to go with some sort of forced induction setup now...

David, Would you mind sharing the part number of the K&N's on your HS2's? I'm thinking of making a "shade tree" version of the mounts for them.

K&N RU4410

Had a set on the Tunebug with Hap's velocity stacks, and have the same ones on my MGB now. The MGB has stock velocity stacks that work perfectly with the K&Ns.

Sperchargering is a future project but I'll have
to de-tune it a bit.
When she does blow from flogging to redline
all the time I'll drop the lump off to Hap for
bit.
Till then.....she'll just scream along with carbs.

David, I don't why I have not suggested this before, but you may want to offer those HS4 carbs on site where racers hang around, that would be a good set up for a vintage/SCCA race car, call me, i might have a guy who is interested in them.

Thanks Hap. These are really a "race" setup anyway. WOT is a hoot. I'll tag it in the racer's section.
