Carb restoration

Looks like you also took that photo right after unwrapping? When I first saw my HIF, I was so amazed that I had to shoot a couple of pics before I put my grimy fingers on it. Really looked like it belonged on a 'show' car, not on my driver.

My photos really don't do Jeff's work justice; very, very nice indeed.

Now just how in the world does Hap adjust the carbs without the engine? I just can not see how that is possible.

I realize that its only one chance in a thousand, but Hap hit the jet settings right on! Now, if my engine is running spot on, the carbs are in perfect sync, has plenty of pep, runs better than when it was new, has "NO" hesitation and gets 30 MPG, do you think I should throw the gages on it and start fiddling with it, OR LEAVE IT ALONE?

LEAVE IT ALONE!!!! It works perfectly, don't mess with it! (put the gauges down and back away from the car and no one gets hurt)

seriously, how many posts have there been about carbs out of adjustment or out of sync? - yours work, go drive.)

If it ain't broke don't fix it.
