Carb/Fuel Problem

I am having a carb/fuel problem on my TR 6, the back carb(the one new the firewall) started spewing out fuel. I had both carbs rebuilt and for about 100 miles is was ok, then it started spewing fuel again, the oil level in the dash pots is up and everything seems to work as it should, any suggestions.

Sounds as if the floats are set too high causing the bowls to overfill and spill gas. Check to see if the float level is correct. If that is fine , maybe the floats themselves are no good. Look closely for any splits, cracks or any evidence of fuel leaking into the float.
Also make sure that the needle valves a working properly. I installed new needle valves last year only to have the carbs start leaking because they stuck open.

Some POs &/or rebuilders install Grose Jets instead of the original needle valves. These can stick open (or stick closed) particularly if the car sits awhile.
