Carb Flow Meter

Has anyone ever used a STE Synchrometer on their carburetors? It has a gauge on it that reads from 1-30 kg/h. We have no idea what it should read with our carbs. We're running the stock twin HD6 carbs in our BN7. Thanks.

Hi Brakin80, I have never specifically measured the flow rate of the HD6 carbs on an engine. However, in priciple you are trying to set the flow rate in each carb to be the same.In this case you would simply use the meter to measure the rate of flow as you adjust the carbs until it reads the same when applied to each carb.---Fwiw---Keoke
