I'm sure we all know this scenario.
Really looking forward to finishing my BE.
Wife complains about kitchen.
I have to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of both possibilities.
BE is put on hold for the winter

while kitchen is done.

I am now the happy owner of a new kitchen, and soon to be happily working on the BE again... Just after I have a kitchen warming party! (and a bit of work on the Jeep and the electric Fiat)

Eeek. Don't let my wife see that.

Yeah! What he said!

Seriously, nice work! Really like the white and wood look.

You're a living example of Tony's philosophy: "if you never say no to her, she can't say no to you."

You're a very wise man. Now get back to work on that car!

Ah, yes Grasshopper, doing well you are. The Force is definitely with you.

Kitchen looks great! And, don't worry, the Bugeye will come along. You obviously have the ability to carry through with big projects. I've always loved the clean, Scandinavian design; if you saw our house, it would be obvious. On that same note, I'm off to Sweden (Gothenburg, birthplace of all Volvos) tomorrow. I'll take pictures of anything interesting, LBC-wise.

:iagree: though wasn't there recently a picture of a Bugeye used as a salad bar? two birds with one stone...

Uh.... I've heard of folks taking their bug-eye apart, but cutting it in half is pretty serious disassembly...
And I sure agree with the other comments - beautiful work on both projects; you've got more energy and skills than this boy does!

Thanks gentlemen. I feel I need encouragement now that I'm working nonstop on everything EXCEPT the car! (Did I mention a straw roof on the summer house)

But after the final stuff, daughter's confirmation party and kitchen warming party, it will be FULL SPEED AHEAD.
