Car transporter recommendations

Hello all,

I've just reached a deal on a 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint convertible and need to find a reputable, affordable transport company to ship the car from Florida to Maine. Any recommendations about which outfits to consider and which to avoid? Any advice, generally? I've never shipped a car like this before and could use some direction.

Thanks.

Here's my two cents: I've had three excellent experiences with Motor Age Transport (based in Massachusetts). The owner knows old cars, knows the ropes, is a true professional - and drives the truck.

Tom,

He looks like he is a total car guy. Says he restored the truck he uses. That's hard-core. I've emailed for a quote. Thanks for the tip.

Good luck with the new adventure. By accident, I just discovered he put a photo of my car's delivery on his website. Sure surprised me!

Now I remember - he even helped me get it started so I could drive it down the driveway. Great guy.

TRY Classic car transport
OR
FED EX Car transport

You may also want to try www.sundayautotransport.com

They're based out of the "Scranton, PA" area. I used them for the 1st. time last yr. for my TR3 delv. to SC.

Their quick, reliable, exc. communications either by Office or Driver. They only have enclosed trucks & their cost was better than most delv. services.

Try them; You just may like them. "I DID".

Happy Hunting,

Russ
