Well Iv been home long enough to start thinking about how Im to move my busted Little B. Being post christmas and all. I was wondering about experiences with componies. I have heard some scary ones and am trying to stay away from that. I was hoping for an independent or small company. I try to give them priority for business. Its the first time in my life I have had an actual garage. Even have a table to put things on. Im getting itchy to tinker.

I have used uShip (https://www.uship.com) to find shippers in the past, and had good luck there. It's similar to eBay -- you put in the details of your shipment, and different companies bid on the job. Everything from large businesses to a guy-with-a-trailer. Have to be careful and watch their feedback, but deals are out there.

Can be a bit of a nervous process. Good luck!

I priced shipping my B from Tuscon to NC. I used online similar to Drew posted. The best price was $750. I went ahead and drove it so I never made the arrangements. Just be ready for a million calls and emails when you post your information.

Why not just put it on a trailer and tow it home? U Haul has them, or have a local tow company with a roll back go get it. Just tell them to use straps not "J" hooks! PJ

I also priced U haul types. The vehicle and trailer or even a truck were much more expensive. It was $1500 or more to get a usable assembly to haul the car back. I was surprised at the high cost even for "budget" companies, not the company, which was expensive as well. The big factor is the milage charge due to one way use.

u haul was out of the question due to one way and how far. Im in Rexburg. South east ID. The car Is in upstate NY. fayetteville. My other car is my new wife's dodge neon. Im not to big of fan and will try to switch to a old hatch civic. So if you stumble across an amazing deal in a few months find me  It looks like ill be doing some sifting. Ill look in to the go-rooster guy to.

I'm on a group - I think that it'sautotransport@yahoogroups.com It's for people who have empty backhauls,&/or extra room on their trailers. - Doug

Doug, I googled that group but im far from internet savvy. how would i find that group? It sounds right up my ally.

Perfect thank you. Every time I read your signature I laugh. Thats how I feel every time im on this site.
