Ya know....here in Chicago when it snows, people put office chairs, lawn chairs, etc. in the spaces out front of their homes once they've shoveled out the parking spot. It looks like crap. This is actually a GOOD idea for that situation. I'd buy one for that reason. Fortunately we live on a corner and have lots of parking.
