Although I never believed anything they said, it was a fun show to listen to.

They'll be running repeats, but no new shows.

Car Talk ending

I'm guess a lot of you know this, but Tom Magliozzi owns an MG-TD. He's also owned an MGA, a TR-250 and a FIAT Spider.

The third half of the show...
Dewey, Cheetum and Howe.....
Don't drive like my brother.....
etc, etc.

There goes a bunch of financial support!

I always like listening to them Sat. mornings while tinkering in the garage.

Maybe they're retiring.

now I'm sad....

could only get them when we lived there or are across the border (I know I know Interweb but I keep forgetting) will really miss them.

It is a sad day now. They have been part of my Saturday mornings for years. Only thing that would make me sadder is if Garrison Keillor decides to retire.

Sorry, dude, but the Prairie Home Companion humor goes completely over my Southern Boy head (as I stated in a post some time back). Nothing makes me turn NPR off faster than Garrison. Must be Lutheran humor.... I don't get it.

I won't even mention who I listen to :square:

I love Prairie Home Companion.. And Car talk, and "Wait! Wait! Don't Tell Me".
Also the Thistle and Shamrock, Piano Jazz, River Folk, Radio Lab,Weekend Radio and what's that one where the celebs read short stories? that's wonderful. Pretty much the whole local Saturday/ Sunday lineup on our Public Radio station.
