Well Paul, how was the Wedge perceived?

Trip go OK?

It went very well, Don. The wedge ran great and we captured 1st place in the TR7/TR8 division. The weather was great, we had dinner in a great Irish Pub the night before the show and the cruise went well.

All I did was do some Griot waxing/detailing and drove it there. The hard work was all done by a guy down in Tennessee, who has been rumored to be taking on a similar effort with a MGB-GT.

I truly think that the color is what won it, more than anything. I must have had at least 40 people ask me to give them the exact color.

I think if he was close enough, he dope slap you with that Carolina remark.

Why, is that offensive to a resident of that area? I didn't know that, or I wouldn't have said it that way.

Let me rephrase that. Ahem....The hard work was done by a restoration expert located south of Massachusetts and I just simply detailed it to highlight his efforts.

Thanks for the reminder Don. I only sent a bunch of stuff back and forth to him, so it's not like I never wrote out his address before. Now what made move him to the wrong state? Probably the same thought process that left the ground cable off!!

I did change it above. Thanks for the reminder.

Well if he's any part of a Jacksonian he's pretty proud of his area.
Though I have noticed he's been quiet for awhile.

He's very busy right now, but I'm sure he'll be back around soon.

Wasn't able to make it to the show this year, take any pics of the show to post?

Rich,

I have about 150 pictures, but have not had time to get them onto my website. I'll try to get some up there over the weekend. It was a perfect day for a show and there were a lot of cars. The wooden car even showed up.

There is a good looking gal who owns a supercharged 390HP Jag that has a neat display as well.

Pssst... he's from Tenn.

But Don, with a name like Richaud, I bet he's from a little farther South.
We are talkin about Mickey, right ?

Every time that I see that wooden car move, it reminds me of the movie "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" with Sean Connery and a bunch of others, whose names I can't remember.

Ken, yea I know he came from the Big Easy, but was thinking he could have adopted his new home.

It's very steam-punkish I liked it alot, but I think it could have used some burls or desert ironwood inlays or something to break up the lacewood pattern.

I've got around 150ish photos myself that I haven't had time to sort through from the CCBCC show.

Really Don, I don't know where Mickey is "from", but I know he lived in Baton Rouge, back in the day.
Me, people ask me where I'm from, I say Louisiana. Ask me where I live, I say Mississippi.
I haven't been adopted, don't guess I ever will be.

Being adopted is a state of mind. Do you feel your home is still in LA.?
