It's later than Don's but the side curtains changed to Dzus in 1958 right after Don's comission #. My '58 TS2969xL has Dzus. The mirror looks like the early unframed one with the short bracket so definitely pre-when ever they changed that. Seats look kinda junky IMO.
 
I'd guess that, with the normal wear you see in the center of the seat cushions, someone decided to repair/replace this section at some point - and adopt a two-tone 50's American upholstery style at the same time.

What is the finish on the center console fascia? It looks like machine-turned metal.
