went to a show called Brits on the Lake today - Port Perry ON. very nicely done. they close off the main street (which really does end at a lake) they have good community support and they are really trying to work it like a mini Goodwood with period clothes. Just a nice day. we had just enough rain to see cars with their tops up - compared to previous years where it poured. The other nice thing was it was an hour away so I got to see quite a few cars I have never seen before - and some very unusual cars! 275 cars total. Here are some pics (including some in Black and White because I obviously did something to SWMBO's camera)

Photo's look great JP... thanks for posting them.
The B&W's photo's look like they are period photos... like they were taken when the cars were new. I like them!

rats forgot all about it, also forgot about Tims Place show(mostly muscle)with proceeds to prostate cancer and also one in Vandorff. Instead fixed some screens and did some woodworking.

Great photos. Thanks JP. Also sounds like a heck of a nice show.

good call Stuart, looks like the golden arrow

Nice to see that Marcos Mantis still around... The photo of the race car (in the background), I remember that car well from my time in Ontario, likely the only LHD Mantis ever made, made for the Canadian owner by the Marcos factory when he lived in England in the early 1970's, then of course he brought it back with him not long after that, and still the original owner in 2003!... My photo from about ten years ago...

I've always wondered if that car was still around the car scene there...
