Went to a car show Saturday with over 200 cars on display. All American cars but two, one German BMW and one British, my TF. Cars were put in age groups and judged that way. I was put in the 1947 to 1956 group with a lot of cars in that group, it was a 40s/50s/60s show. Cars were judged by independent outside paid concurs qualified judges with no affiliation to the club. When the day was over and winners were called, I was totally set back when I was awarded this. :encouragement: PJ

Well deserved!

Congrats Paul. Well done.

Thanks fellas. There was no way I considered getting any award with over 200 American cars on display and some were beautiful! It was mainly a 50s/60s show. For one little lonely British car to win a prize was overwhelming, let alone a first! Sometimes all the frustration pays off. I believe it was due to the concurs judges and not a popular vote. Their check sheets were quite detailed. :encouragement: PJ

Sweet, Paul! Congrats!

Thanks Doc, aside from getting to drive it, all the work has paid off, not in $$$ though! :highly_amused:

That's a nice recognition for all the hard work you put in on that car. Congratulations!
